For a couple of Scotches, my good friend Tom agreed to come by the studio to have someone throw water in his face and punch him in the throat so I could take pictures. We got some fun stuff. Tom is currently on bed rest and a liquid diet, but is making steady progress toward a full recovery. Always willing to take one for the team, when asked about the project, Tom responded with an enthusiastic, “Wha thhhe fugh happpin, ya sid th woood be fee snoks, heyyy wha thhe hellw ammm I !?”

Short Vid of Photo Shoot with Olympic Diver Kelci Bryant
February 16, 2010
I recently had the opportunity to photograph olympic diver and University of Minnesota student, Kelci Bryant. In the 2008 Beijing games, she and diving partner Ariel Rittenhouse narrowly missed winning a medal in the 3-meter synchronized springboard event. Kelci is hoping to bring home a medal in 2012.
It is always a thrill to photograph athletes at the top of their form! A big “thank you!” to Kelci for her time and effort during the shoot.

Happy New Year!
January 01, 2010
Another year has flown by! Can’t believe how fast the kids are growing up. They still don’t have a problem hamming it up for the camera, however. Peace and success to you in 2010.

Thanks Minnesota Valley Photography Club
November 09, 2009
A big thank you to the Minnesota Valley Photography Club for inviting me to speak and present some of my work! I had a great time. It is always fun to be around people who are passionate about creating images and becoming better photographers! I also owe a thank you to Kyle Krohn over a West Photo for facilitating my participation, and to Mark Freier for sending along a few shots of the evening. The shot of Meatloaf speaking…oh wait that’s me, is one of Marks’s and the other is an iPhone shot that I took of the salon portion of the evening.
